The Incident: Asmina, a 40-year-old mother of two from Vatakara, Kozhikode, was working as a cook in a Kayamkulam hotel. She was in a relationship with Jobi George, a receptionist at the same hotel.
The Murder: Jobi secured a job at a lodge in Attingal, Thiruvananthapuram, and brought Asmina along, presenting her as his wife. The following day, Asmina was found dead, having been brutally killed with injuries on her body caused by a beer bottle.
