In many traditional beliefs, persistent failures, health issues, and family disputes are often attributed to negative energies such as “Drishti Dosha” (evil eye) or the ill-will of enemies. To combat these invisible hurdles, the video describes a powerful yet simple ritual involving camphor (Karpooram) to cleanse one’s life and return negative energy to its source. Performed on a Saturday night after the house lamps are extinguished, the ritual requires a red liquid called Guruthi—made by mixing turmeric and lime in water—along with black peppercorns, a betel leaf, and a piece of camphor. The affected person faces East or North while a lighted camphor is waved seven times from head to toe in a clockwise direction while chanting mantras to Goddess Bhadrakali or Chandika. This symbolic act is said to break the “invisible chains” holding back one’s progress, potentially leading to restored health, financial prosperity, and a dramatic shift where those who wished harm upon you face the consequences of their own negativity.
